Very good condition original WWI US Model 1917 helmet. Shell has nice original paint showing a little normal wear, no dents. Has a painted 82
nd
Division insignia on the front. Not sure if this is period done, helmet is otherwise WWI original. Complete with oilcloth liner and leather chinstrap. Liner shows a little normal wear and is pliable. Wool crown pad is present. Leather chinstrap is soft and supple with some normal wear. Nice WWI Doughboy helmet for your collection.
