WW1 2nd Division Engineer Helmet with USMC EGA

Selling a helmet that doesn't really fit in my collection anymore.  This one was purchased some years ago from a prominent west coast collector and has been in my collection since.  I'm narrowing down my WW1 painted helmets to the USMC line battalions and machine gun units so this one is ready to go to a new home.
It's an American shell, named, with a 2nd Engineer insignia (black castle) on the front with an EGA mounted above it.  The 2nd Engineers were called "Honorary Marines" by the marines of the 4th Brigade and some marine officers rotated through the various companies of that unit.  This helmet shows evidence of being stored in a basement or shed but is solid and sound.  The chin strap shows an old repair and the liner is held in with some twists of copper wire.
