    This is an original old Milkose Brand Malted Milk store counter advertising jar with the original aluminum domed lid. It has advertising on both sides. The jar is 5.75" diameter across the bottom and 6" tall not including the 3.5" tall lid. The lettering is cobalt blue and appears to be fired on enamel paint-heavy so that it would not wash off.
    The jar is in excellent condition with no chips. The lid has a 1" long dent on the side and a pea-sized dent on the knob on the top, as shown.
