Description
Up for your bidding pleasure is this Vintage 1940's Baby Ruth Original Candy Advertising Box. From what I understand on the History Channel the Curtiss Candy Company used the Babe’s iconic character as a marketing strategy then sued him when he advertised a comparable Homerun Bar. Then claimed that Baby Ruth was named after President Grover Cleveland’s daughter. Condition is "Used" showing some wear and one split seam on the box top. The box bottom is in a slightly better shape as it was protected by the top. The bottom depicts a right handed slugger whacking a homer while the Babe was a always a lefty. Please use the provided photos to assist in your evaluation! Shipped with USPS Priority Mail. Thanks for your interest!
