Description:
Presented for your consideration is this pair of oriental watercolor paintings. One of the paintings features white, light pink to dark pink ombre irises with yellow centers. Extending from the irises are stems and leaves which are various shades of green, brown and white. The other painting is of purple, pink and blue irises with yellow centers and green stems and leaves. Nice, intricate detailing is present throughout each of the paintings. The multi-color iris painting signed along the left side edge and the other is signed along the right side edge. The signatures are in Chinese/Japanese characters so we are unsure as to what they read. If anyone knows who these symbols represent, please message us.  Each is framed with a light green-yellow mat and framed in a wooden, bamboo style frame. These beautiful watercolor paintings would make a great addition to any oriental art or watercolor painting collection!
The pink watercolor has some light staining in the lower right bottom edge. A small, faint brown stain is near the right edge of the purple watercolor. Light wear is on the frame. Overall the pair of watercolors are in VERY GOOD condition. Please refer to the photos for the absolute best details.
Each of the watercolors alone measure 14 5/8" wide and 10" long. Entire item measures 18 5/8" wide, 14 5/8" long and 1/2" thick.
