    Original Vintage Aviator Hat or Bomber's Helmet. Circa WW I
    This came from an estate of a man who had a huge collection of World War I books and memorabilia. I am not very familiar with this sort of material but am guessing this is the real thing from the WWI era. It is leather and with what appears to be a felt lining. There are no markings whatsoever. It is fairly small. There is a loop at the top which I have shown and I really do not know what this would have been for. I will leave it to the experts. I have shown both sides and the upper loop. It is worn with age but seems to be complete.
