Daum France Footed Bowl w/ Sea Shell Lid

Description

This is a magnificent art glass piece, consisting of a clear glass footed bowl and a domed colorful lid with a sea shell on top.
Overall height is approximately 5 1/4", 6" diameter. Weighs nearly 2 lbs.
The footed bowl is clear hand blown glass. The cover is partially frosted glass with controlled air bubbles. It has shades of lavender, yellow and blue. Topped by a textured conch shell. The underside of the lid has reliefs of a starfish, a scallop shell and other sea creatures.
Hand crafted by Daum in France and accordingly marked. An identical dish sold on auction (Burchard Galleries 7/27/2008) for 00.
In excellent
condition, no chips, no cracks, no repairs.
