Chinese Watercolor Painting

Description

Chinese Watercolor on paper. 14-1/2" X 10-1/2" including 1-3/8" border. Focal point of painting is a red bird with long tail and white throat sitting on a branch with shaded pink roselike flowers and green leaves on a beige background. Border is gold floral motif on dark blue fabric. Picture is sealed in a protective plastic cover. Purchased in Shanghai in 1973.
