    Date of 1965, original, size 20 ½ x 29 ½ inches, very qualified lithographic color printing, issued by the People’s Fine Art Publishing House, initial visible price of the publication, Shanghai of China.
    The original painting of this poster is after Ren Manxin, the old Chinese painter active during the Chinese Cultural Revolution (CCR, 1966 – 1976). This painter became to the editor in chief of Mei Shu Cong Kan (the magazine) late in 1980’s in Shanghai, the magazine was an important fine art series of China founded in 1978.
    The background of this poster based on the Vietnam War (1955 – 1975). Especially the Operation Rolling Thunder (March 2nd, 1965 – 1968) approved by the president Lyndon Johnson (1908 - 1973), and U.S. Marines were landed near Da Nang, South Vietnam on March 8th, 1965, which marked the beginning of the American ground war. The first deployment of 3,500 in March was increased to nearly 200,000 by December. U.S. public opinion overwhelmingly supported the deployment. During the time Nguyễn Văn Thiệu (1923 – 2001) became the figurehead chief of state of a military junta by South and North Vietnam received aid from Soviet Union and PR China as they were tied as socialist allies.
    This poster titled Vietnam Must Be Win and US Imperialist Must Be Defeated. The main idea of the political satire that a North Vietnam soldier in the Chinese military uniform holding a Soviet Union AK-47 captured a US soldier.
